Trove ApS (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes ScrollGate on Google Play as Trove Interactive. This page explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the ScrollGate mobile application (the “App”) on Android.
Privacy comes first
The core functionality of ScrollGate (app blocking, focus sessions, and break timers) runs locally on your device.
Your list of blocked apps, focus schedules, and session state are stored on your device.
We do not upload your blocked-app list or usage history to our servers.
To block apps you choose, ScrollGate uses the Android Accessibility Service only to detect when a blocked app is opened and show the lock screen. We do not read screen content, keystrokes, passwords, or messages.Permissions

We do not sell your app list or send it to our servers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used (e.g. which features are used and how often) so we can improve it. This may include anonymous usage data, a device identifier, and basic device information (e.g. model and OS version). It does not include which specific apps you block or your screen-time history.Crash and diagnostic data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. If the App crashes, we may receive diagnostic information such as device model, OS version, app version, time of the event, and a crash report.Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to show rewarded ads (e.g. to unlock breaks). Google may use device identifiers (including the Google Advertising ID), IP address, and similar data to serve and measure ads.
You may see personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device settings and choices.
You can limit ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads (wording may vary by device).
Google AdMob Privacy PolicyYour choices and data deletion
Accessibility: required for app blocking; you can disable it in Android system settings (blocking will stop).
Notifications: optional; you can control them in Android notification settings.
Ads / personalization: you can manage ad personalization in your device’s Google ad settings.
Data held on your device (such as your blocked-app list and focus settings) is removed when you uninstall the App.
Analytics, crash, and advertising-related data processed by Google (Firebase and AdMob) may be associated with your device or advertising identifier. To request deletion of such data, email us at scrolltollappstore@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” We will process your request within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days, and confirm when complete. We may ask for information needed to identify your data (for example, approximate date you used the App and device type).
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.Contact us
